But there's the usual disclaimer that nothing's been proven yet. Also, the guy who is making this claim says that "Perhaps 90 percent of the light from the early universe is missing." I'm no astrophysicist, but isn't 90 percent of the universe supposed to be dark matter too? Not that I have any clue what the correlation would be between those two statements.

By the way, is that "dawn came up" thing Kipling? The author references Kipling in the first paragraph and then drops that line, so it seems like it could be. I think Kipling is back in vogue these days.
